Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 400 g chanterelles (chanterelles)
  • 250 ml sweet cream
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 onion(s), red
  • oil
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • Parsley

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Chanterelle sauce

Clean the chanterelles and sauté them in a hot pan or pot without fat. The chanterelles will release enough water. Sauté until all the water has evaporated. Now add the oil and the finely chopped onion and sauté for about 10 minutes. Then add the cream and bring to a boil briefly. Finally, stir in the sour cream; do not let it boil again. Season with salt and pepper, and add parsley if desired. This goes very well with bread dumplings. I also like to use the sauce as a pancake filling.
