  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ cup caviar, red (Taramas)

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

red fish roe dip

If the taramas isn’t from a can, first soak it in lukewarm water for about 10 minutes to desalt it. Then clean and dry thoroughly. Canned roe can be used immediately. Place it in a blender with the soaked bread, where it should form a soft paste. Then, while the blender is running, add lemon juice and olive oil, drop by drop. Season with salt. Sprinkle the taramas with chopped parsley. Taramosalata is very appetizing and is eaten with bread dipped in the dip. It also goes well with various salads and cooked vegetables.
