Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 bunch of chard
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • lots of olive oil
  • 1 kg potatoes, boiled, hot
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Blitva

Cut the chard’s stem and, after washing, remove the dark green leaves from the center. Then chop them like spinach and wilt them with the garlic in plenty of hot olive oil. Do not boil—just sauté! Then toss the hot, cooked potatoes with the chard, season with salt and pepper, and add more olive oil. The mixture should not be dry. Serve hot.
