Ingredients for 6 servings:
- 150 g bacon (smoked belly bacon)
- 1,000 g potatoes, small, cooked
- 2 large onions
- 200 g cheese, grated (Emmental)
- Parsley
- Salt
- pepper
- Paprika powder, sweet
- Oil for the pan
Instructions
Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
Cut the bacon into thin strips, peel the onion and slice into rings, peel the potatoes and slice thinly, wash the parsley, remove the stalks, and finely chop. Heat a little oil in a pan, fry the bacon, add the potatoes and onion rings, and cook until well browned. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Transfer to a heatproof dish, sprinkle with the cheese, and grill in the oven until the cheese is melted and golden. Sprinkle with the parsley before serving.
