Salad with Marinated Onions and Cheese

The perfect salad with marinated onions and cheese recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

Marinated onions

  • 1 Red onions
  • 2 tsp Salt
  • 2 tbsp Vinegar

Salads

  • 50 g Postelein
  • 50 gr Lettuce
  • 8 leaves Fresh chicory

dressing

  • 6 tbsp Yogurt
  • 4 tbsp Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper
  • 2 tbsp Lemon juice

cheese

  • 50 gr Blue cheese

to decorate

  • 10 Walnuts
  • 2 Tomatoes
  • Basil leaves
  • Thyme leaves
  1. Slice the onion thinly and mix with the remaining ingredients and let it steep for at least 15 minutes. Mix all ingredients for the dressing and adjust to your own taste. Arrange the washed salads nicely and spread the squeezed onions over them. Place the diced cheese on top and generously pour the dressing over it. Decorate with the tomatoes, walnuts, thyme and basil. This salad can be modified into all imaginable alternatives in terms of cheese and salad selection.
