Cheese rolls / cheese sticks

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 kg flour, (+flour for kneading)
  • 1 cube of yeast
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1 pinch(s) of sugar
  • ¾ liter of water, lukewarm
  • 1 jar oil
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 200 g cheese (grated)

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes

delicious cheese pastry made from yeast dough (makes approx. 24 pieces)

Knead flour, yeast, sugar, salt, water, and oil into a dough and let it rest in a warm place for 20 minutes, until it has doubled in size. Form the dough into small rolls, cover, and let rest for another 20 minutes. Beat the egg, brush the rolls with it, and top with grated cheese. Bake for 15-20 minutes at approximately 225 degrees Celsius.
