- 250 g flour
- 150 g sugar
- 100 g butter
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 4 egg yolks
- 3 packets of vanilla sugar
- 150 g sugar
- 750 g quark
- 3 cups sour cream
- 1 cup of sweet cream
- 1 packet of pudding powder (vanilla)
- Fat for the mold
- 4 egg whites
- 1 tbsp sugar
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 9 hours; Total time approx. 9 hours 30 minutes
Knead the egg, flour, sugar, butter, and baking powder into a shortcrust pastry and chill for 30 minutes. Grease a 26 cm springform pan, line it with the pastry, and form a rim. For the filling, mix the egg yolks, vanilla sugar, sugar, quark, sour cream, cream, and pudding powder with a hand mixer and pour over the pastry. Bake for 45 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius. Beat 4 egg whites and about 1 tablespoon of sugar and spread over the cake. Bake for another 15 minutes. Cool slowly; do not remove from the pan. Do not consume until the next day.
