Cherry and Cinnamon Cake

  • 4 Eggs
  • 300 g Sugar
  • 400 g Flour
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 0,75 packet Baking powder
  • 100 ml Oil
  • 125 ml Mineral water
  • 2 Glasses Cherries a 680g filling quantity

  • 2 a cup Cream
  • 3 a cup Sour cream
  • 3 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • Sugar and cinnamon
  1. Preheat the oven to 180 ° C. Allow the cherries to drain. Mix all the ingredients for the dough and spread on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Spread the cherries on top. Bake in the oven (middle rack) for about 20 minutes. After the baking time, let it cool down well and then turn it over, remove the baking paper and place the cake back on the baking sheet.
  2. Whip the cream a little stiff, fold in the sour cream, sugar and vanilla sugar and spread on the cake. Mix the sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle on the cake through a small sieve.
