Cherry-banana jam

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 kg sweet cherries, pitted weighed
  • ½ kg banana(s), cut into pieces
  • 100 ml cherry brandy
  • 200 ml lime juice (approx. 3 limes)
  • 200 ml juice (KiBa nectar)
  • 2 packets of gelling sugar (2:1)
  • 1 pack of citric acid

Instructions

Working time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

with cherry brandy and lime – very, very tasty

Place the cherries and bananas in a large saucepan and mash lightly. Add the gelling sugar, citric acid, kirsch, lime juice, and KiBa nectar and stir in. Bring the mixture to a boil while stirring and simmer for about 4 minutes. Test the setting time. Pour the hot jam into jars and seal with twist-off lids.
