Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 4 cups flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup(s) oil
- 1 cup(s) orange soda
- 1 packet of baking powder
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 1 jar cherry(s)
- Cinnamon and sugar
- possibly eggnog
Instructions

Sheet cake
Put the flour, sugar, eggs, oil, lemonade (or seltzer if you like), baking powder, and vanilla sugar in a mixing bowl and mix for 3 minutes with a mixer on high speed until you have a smooth dough. I always like to add a dash of eggnog. Pour the batter onto a greased baking sheet and gently swirl it to coat every nook and cranny. Sprinkle the drained cherries over the batter. Bake on the middle rack of the oven for about 30 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius (fan oven) until golden brown. Then simply sprinkle sugar and cinnamon over the cake while it is still hot. It smells delicious and tastes simply fantastic. You can, of course, add other fruits to the batter, or use powdered sugar for garnishing.
