Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 ml cherry juice
  • 250 ml rum
  • 500 ml syrup (cherry)
  • 800 ml cream
  • 6 bags of vanilla sugar

Low alcohol, super tasty – but not for those who want to lose weight

I’ve posted a recipe for fake Mon Cheri. I recommended saving the rum and cherry juice that you don’t need for the recipe. This recipe is a way to use up the juice and rum leftovers. Mix all the ingredients together in a large bowl and stir occasionally to dissolve the vanilla sugar. The liqueur is ready to drink. Shake briefly before serving. It’s delicious and not too alcoholic. Bottled in pretty bottles, the liqueur makes a lovely gift for Christmas or other holidays. If you like, you can of course use more rum or less syrup; then the liqueur won’t be as sweet.
