Minced meat sauce with cream cheese

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 2 large onions
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 kg minced meat, mixed
  • 4 cups of cream
  • 300 g herb cream cheese
  • tsp vegetable broth
  • salt and pepper
  • nutmeg
  • chives

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Dice the onions and then sauté them in olive oil until translucent. Add the ground beef and break it up. Once the beef is well browned, pour over the cream. Bring the cream to a boil briefly, stir in the cream cheese, and season with vegetable stock, salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Reduce heat to low and simmer for about 10-20 minutes. Garnish with chives before serving. The sauce goes well with pasta, rice, and potatoes, and also pairs well with many vegetables.
