Cherry-marzipan-white-chocolate jam

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 kg sour cherries, pitted
  • 50 g marzipan paste
  • 50 g white chocolate bar
  • 1 lemon(s), juice
  • 500 g gelling sugar 2:1
  • 200 ml water

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest period approx. 1 day; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 1 day 50 minutes

Bring the cherries to a boil with the water and lemon juice and simmer for about 15 minutes until soft. Purée with a hand blender. Meanwhile, finely chop the marzipan and chocolate. Place a teaspoon into each of the prepared jam jars. Once the cherries are soft and puréed, add the gelling sugar and simmer for another 4 minutes. Pour into the jars and stir with a long, thin spoon. Seal immediately. This quantity is enough for about 4 regular-sized jars and one small jar.
