Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 450 g cherry(s), pitted
  • 90 ml red wine, e.g. Blaufränkisch
  • 1 pinch of cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. clove powder
  • 250 g gelling sugar 2:1
  • 2 tbsp cherry brandy

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Puree the cherries with the red wine, mix with the preserving sugar and spices, and bring to a boil. Let it simmer for a few minutes. Finally, add the kirsch. While still hot, pour into jars, seal tightly, and turn the jars upside down for about half an hour.
