Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 kg tomatoes
  • 5 bell pepper(s), red
  • 2 bulbs of garlic
  • 5 Pepper, red, hot
  • 1 tbsp salt

Vladi’s Kazakh spice mix

Wash the tomatoes, halve them, and remove the stems. Wash the peppers and cut off the stems. Peel the garlic. Put one kilo of tomatoes through a meat grinder, then the peppers and garlic. Now grind the second kilo of tomatoes. Season with salt and pour into boiled jars or bottles. The seasoning mix will keep in the refrigerator for a good six months. Ideal for seasoning sauces and soups. Tip: The amount of peppers depends on their spiciness. Use between 5 and 10 peppers.
