Chicken Alfredo

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 420 ml chicken broth
  • 250 ml cream
  • 230 g penne
  • 140 g Parmesan, grated
  • Oil for frying
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Dice the two chicken breasts and sear them in hot oil with the finely chopped garlic clove. Season the meat with salt, pepper, and paprika. When the meat is lightly browned, pour in the chicken stock and cream. Then add the uncooked (!) penne to the pot. Let this mixture simmer for 15-20 minutes, until the pasta has absorbed all the liquid and is al dente. Finally, add grated Parmesan cheese (or another spicy cheese, if you prefer) to the pasta. Mix everything well until the cheese has melted and a sloppy consistency has formed.
