Chicken baguette with salad and grilled cheese

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 baguette(s)
  • 2 servings of chicken breast
  • Spice(s) of your choice, e.g., BBQ rub
  • 1 bunch of lamb’s lettuce
  • 3 radishes
  • 5 tsp sauce (garlic/rosemary sauce)
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 100 g cheese for sprinkling
  • 3 tbsp dressing of your choice, for the salad

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Wash the lettuce and chop the radishes and add them to the salad. Only add the dressing just before putting it on the grill, otherwise the salad will collapse. Cut the chicken in half and season well on both sides; in my case, I used a BBQ rub, then grill it. Cut the baguette open and spread it with the sauce and a row of sliced tomatoes. Cut the grilled meat into strips and place it on top of the tomatoes. Sprinkle the cheese on top immediately, as it melts best when the meat is still hot. Add the dressed salad and cover the baguette with the top, and you’re done. I also stuck a couple of skewers with an olive in them, but that’s not necessary.
