Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius and grease a baking dish. Trim and wash the savoy cabbage, remove the thick leaf ribs, and cut into strips. Peel and dice the onion, then sauté in hot fat until translucent. Add the savoy cabbage and sauté for about 3 minutes. Season with salt, caraway, and pepper. Pour in the broth, add a little of the cream, and cook over medium heat for about 20 minutes. Add the remaining cream, if desired. Season the chicken breast fillets and fry for about 5 minutes on each side. Make the mashed potatoes according to the package instructions. If you have enough time and the desire, you can of course make the mashed potatoes yourself! Stir the grated cheese into the mashed potatoes. Now layer everything as follows: First, place the savoy cabbage in the dish. Then spread the chicken breast fillets on top, then spread the mashed potatoes over the top. Now sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and bake on the middle rack of the oven for about 15 minutes.
