Chicken Texicana

Ingredients for 5 servings:

  • 500 g chicken breast
  • 1 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 bell pepper(s), green
  • 1 can of tomatoes, peeled
  • 1 can of corn
  • 1 can kidney beans
  • 250 ml sauce (Texicana salsa)
  • some salt and pepper
  • Cayenne pepper
  • some oil
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Cut the chicken breast into small cubes and fry in hot oil. Add the diced onion, garlic, and bell pepper. Mix in the tomato paste and Texicana salsa. Add the tomatoes, corn, and kidney beans. Season with salt, pepper, and cayenne pepper and simmer gently for 5 minutes. Serve with bread or rice.
