Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 500 g chicken wings
- 3 tbsp honey
- 3 tbsp vinegar (red wine vinegar)
- 5 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 250 ml chili sauce
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 tbsp ginger, grated

Wash the chicken wings and remove any remaining feathers. Mix all the liquid ingredients (honey, vinegar, soy sauce, oil, and chili sauce) in a large bowl. Add the crushed garlic and grated ginger and stir well. Add the wings to the marinade and stir to coat all the wings. Marinate the wings overnight. Place a deep baking sheet filled with water at the bottom of the oven. This will catch the dripping fat and sauce and help prevent the meat from drying out. To grill, place the wings on disposable grill pans for easier cleanup. Place the wings on the grill rack in the oven at 200 degrees Celsius and grill. Turn all the wings over after about 15 minutes. They’re done after 30 minutes. Serve with a mixed salad and spare ribs (I also serve them).
