Chicken wings with Creole marinade

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 8 tbsp vegetable oil, neutral
  • 6 tbsp soy sauce, light
  • 2 tbsp molasses or brown sugar
  • 1 lime(s), the juice
  • 1 tsp black pepper from the mill
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 kg chicken wings

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Caribbean recipe

Combine all ingredients except the chicken wings to make a marinade. This works best in a shaker or blender. The advantage of a blender is that the marinade will be thicker. Let the chicken wings marinate for at least 4 hours. When grilling, first brown the wings on the underside, then flip and grill until crispy. Brush the wings frequently with the marinade while grilling.
