Chicory and Orange Salad

Ingredients
 

  • 500 g Chicory
  • 2 Oranges / oranges
  • Salt
  • Ground white pepper
  • 3 tbsp Balsamic vinegar
  • 4 tbsp Sunflower oil
  • 150 g Yogurt
  • 2 tbsp Cream
  • 1 pinch Sugar

Instructions
 

  • Clean the chicory and cut out the inner bitter core. wash and drain. Then cut into slices. Peel the orange and separate the fillets with a sharp knife. Share this again if necessary. When removing, pour the juice over the chicory.
  • Mix the yoghurt with the cream, salt, pepper, sugar and vinegar. Finally stir in the oil. Pour the sauce over the salad and carefully fold in. Let steep for 10-15 minutes before serving. Serve with toast.
  • The salad tastes so good to us that we usually eat the 4-person portion for two in the evening ;-)))
