Ingredients for 8 servings:
- 2 liters of grape juice
- 1 tbsp cinnamon powder
- 1 stalk(s) cinnamon
- 1 tbsp, leveled anise powder
- 1 tbsp, levelled clove powder
- 1 tbsp, leveled cardamom powder
- 1 tsp, heaped gingerbread spice
- 1 tsp, leveled nutmeg
- 1 pinch(s) of pepper
- 3 tbsp maple syrup
- 100 g almonds, chopped
- 1 orange(s), peeled, cut into pieces
- 1 cup of black tea
- 100 ml water
- 75 g raisins
Instructions
Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes
Bring the almonds and raisins to a boil in a large pot with the black tea, water, and maple syrup. Then add the grape juice and orange juice, bring back to a boil, and simmer for about 5 minutes. Simmer on low heat for about 1 hour. Strain through a sieve before serving.
