Ingredients for 1 servings:
- ½ liter tea (wild berry or other fruit tea)
- ¼ liter apple juice
- 8 carnations
- 1 stalk(s) cinnamon
- 1 lemon(s), juice
- ½ orange(s), juice
- e.g. sugar, brown sugar or sweetener
- 1 point orange flavor
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
without alcohol
Brew the tea and let it steep for about 8 minutes. I like to use wild berry tea because it tastes best with this. Add the apple juice, cloves (best in a tea infuser), cinnamon stick, lemon juice, orange juice, and orange flavoring and heat gently, but do not boil. Let it steep for about 10 minutes. Then remove the spices and serve the punch hot. I originally thought of adding a whole orange peel to the drink. But since I couldn’t find any untreated oranges, I switched to orange flavoring. If you can find these untreated oranges, you might also want to try the punch with the peel.
