Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 550 ml water
- 3 bags of herbal tea (mild rosehip blend)
- 3 mulled wine bags (Glühfix)
- 500 ml sour cherry juice
- 50 ml orange juice
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 6 tsp glucose or barley sugar
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes
Bring the water to a boil, remove from the heat, and add the three tea bags and two Glühfix tea bags. Let it steep for 10 minutes. Remove all five bags and reserve the two Glühfix tea bags. Heat the tea, sour cherry juice, orange juice, lemon juice, and glucose together; do not boil. Remove from the heat and add the two used Glühfix tea bags and the new Glühfix tea bag. Let it steep for another 10 minutes. This makes 1 liter. Note: Since people with fructose malabsorption often have serious problems with apple juice, but store-bought children’s punch contains apple juice, I made this punch for my daughter, and she tolerates it very well.
