Spread the love

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 2 packs of Knorr Naturally Delicious Chili con Carne (seasoning base)
  • 1 pack of sauce (cream sauce)
  • 800 g minced meat, mixed
  • 2 can/n kidney beans, 225 g drained weight
  • 1 can of tomatoes, peeled, 260 g drained weight
  • 2 tbsp oil for frying
  • 1 liter of water
  • 2 tbsp sauce thickener, dark

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

with spice base

Fry the minced meat in a non-stick pan with oil until crumbly and lightly browned. Stir the minced meat occasionally to ensure it is cooked through. While the meat is frying, you can prepare the sauce. To do this, put 750 ml of water in a saucepan and bring to a boil. First stir in the cream sauce, then the seasoning. After stirring, simmer over low heat. Now add the tomatoes, including their juice, to the sauce and mix well. Briefly remove the pan from the heat and mash the tomatoes with a potato masher to prevent any large chunks. Next, add the kidney beans and their liquid to the sauce. If the consistency is still too runny, add a little sauce thickener if desired. Finally, add the cooked minced meat. Bring everything to a boil briefly and then serve with a slice of grilled bread.
