Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 1 bottle of white wine vinegar or
- Red wine vinegar or cider vinegar (350 ml)
- 3 chili peppers, red or green
- 2 bay leaves
- 2 tsp, leveled sugar

Pour a quarter of the vinegar into another container. Pierce the chili peppers all over with a fork. Crush the bay leaf with a mortar or similar. Place both in the bottle and add the sugar. Close the bottle tightly and shake vigorously until the sugar has dissolved. Let it stand for 2-3 days. The vinegar is now ready to enjoy in stews or with salads.
