Chinese cabbage – glass noodle stew

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 350 g Chinese cabbage
  • 250 g minced meat
  • 1 tbsp margarine
  • 125 ml meat broth
  • 50 g glass noodles or vermicelli
  • salt and pepper
  • Maggi
  • Soy sauce

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Cut the Chinese cabbage into strips, rinse briefly under cold water, and drain in a colander. Heat the margarine in a tall saucepan and fry the minced meat, seasoning with salt and pepper. Add the Chinese cabbage and sauté while stirring. Pour in the meat broth and continue to simmer gently, stirring occasionally. In another pot, bring 1 liter of water with 1 teaspoon of salt to a boil. Then remove the pot of boiling water from the heat and add the glass noodles. Close the lid and let the noodles stand for 6-7 minutes. Pour the noodles into a fine sieve, rinse briefly with cold water, and chop slightly if necessary. Add the noodles to the Chinese cabbage and minced meat mixture, mix everything well, and season with the spices mentioned above.
