Chinese – fruity turkey breast

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 900 g turkey breast
  • 100 ml soy sauce
  • 1 bottle of sauce (sweet and sour)
  • 3 tbsp chili sauce (sweet chili sauce)
  • 1 can coconut milk
  • 1 jar bamboo shoot(s), sliced
  • 4 half peach(s), from the can (collect 100 ml of juice)
  • Spice mix (Chinese spice)
  • 2 tsp flour, if desired

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Wash the turkey breast, dry it, and cut into pieces or slices. Mix together the sauces, coconut milk, peach juice, and Chinese seasoning. Drain the bamboo shoots and add them to the sauce along with the diced peaches and raw turkey breast pieces. Mix well and pour into a casserole dish. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake in the oven at 175°C (fan oven) for about 1 hour. Remove the foil 15 minutes before the end of the cooking time. Tip: If you like the sauce thicker, you can thicken the coconut milk with 2 teaspoons of flour. Serve with basmati rice and salad.
