Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 9 tbsp pineapple juice
- 9 tbsp vinegar
- 3 tbsp rice wine or sherry
- 4 tbsp soy sauce
- 6 tbsp sugar
- 6 tbsp tomato ketchup
- Salt
- 1 tbsp cornstarch, more if needed
- some water
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes
Combine all ingredients, except the cornstarch, and heat while stirring. Bring to a boil briefly. Mix the cornstarch with a little water until smooth, then add and simmer briefly. If you want the sauce to be thicker, mix a little more cornstarch with a little water until smooth and stir into the sauce. Bring to a boil again briefly.
