Chive sauce 'à la Lina'

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 750 ml sour milk
  • 350 ml cream
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 bunch of chives
  • 8 eggs, hard-boiled
  • 3 tsp vinegar (herb vinegar)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

Whisk the sour cream with the cream and vinegar until smooth and season with salt and pepper. Finely chop the chives and add them. Finely dice the eggs (or roughly mash them with a fork or chop them with an egg slicer) and stir in. Let it sit in the refrigerator for 1 hour and season again before serving. This dish is delicious with jacket potatoes, boiled potatoes, baked potatoes, or even baked potatoes at a barbecue.
