Chocolate Almond Macaroons

- 2 Pc. Large egg whites
- 200 g Ground almonds, alternatively other Ground nuts
- 30 g Cocoa powder
- 170 g Powdered sugar
- These cookies are ideal for protein utilization. Prepare a bowl and briefly stir all the ingredients in it (you don’t need to whip the egg whites until stiff!).
- Form balls from the dough with damp hands, put them about the size of a walnut and with a little space between them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake in the preheated oven at 200 degrees on the middle rack for about 11 minutes. The cookies diverge a little.
- After baking, place the macaroons on a wire rack with the baking paper to cool down. Immediately after baking, they are still a bit soft, but then harden when they cool down. The amount of dough makes about 26-30 pieces, depending on how big you shape the balls.
