Chocolate cake in the Omnia oven

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 125 g butter
  • 125 ml sugar
  • 125 ml milk
  • 80 ml cocoa
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 200 ml flour
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ bar of dark chocolate
  • Fat for the mold

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes

Grate the dark chocolate with a vegetable peeler and set aside. Heat the butter, sugar, vanilla sugar, and salt in a saucepan and mix. Let cool. Add the eggs and beat with a hand mixer until frothy. Mix the flour with the baking powder and cocoa powder. Add the milk to the whipped mixture. Finally, stir in the chocolate shavings. Place the silicone insert in the Omnia pan, grease it, and pour in the batter. Place on the gas stove and bake for 30 minutes. Check if the cake is done with a wooden skewer. Notes: I use a hand-operated mixer when camping. The advantage is that it doesn’t require electricity. For baking, I use the high heat and set it between the two available settings. The cake is very moist and will stay that way for several days. Simply store it in aluminum foil or a container.
