Chocolate cake with peanuts

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 150 g flour, type 405
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp, leveled salt
  • 120 g cocoa powder, unsweetened
  • 1 tsp instant coffee powder
  • 60 ml milk
  • 250 g sugar
  • 100 g cane sugar
  • 120 g butter, melted
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract, alternatively vanilla sugar
  • 2 egg whites
  • 50 g chocolate, chopped
  • 1 can peanuts, unsalted
  • 1 package of chocolate coating

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Sift flour, baking powder, and cocoa powder into a bowl. Warm the milk and dissolve the coffee powder in it. Mix the two sugars, butter, coffee milk, and vanilla essence in a bowl. Roughly stir in the flour. Beat the egg whites until stiff and fold the beaten egg whites into the batter. Stir in the chopped chocolate. Spread onto a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Sprinkle with peanuts. Bake at 160°C for about 35 minutes. The cake should be just firm to the touch. Cover with chocolate coating.
