Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 30 g butter
- 250 g flour (Type 1050)
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder
- 120 g sugar
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 1 pinch of salt
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tbsp milk
- 200 g almonds
- 1 egg white
- 80 g couverture (dark chocolate, min. 70% cocoa)

Melt the chocolate coating with the butter in a double boiler. Combine the flour, baking powder, and cocoa powder in a mixing bowl. Add the sugar, vanilla sugar, salt, eggs, milk, and the cooled chocolate coating and mix well. Press the dough until slightly soft and knead in the almonds. Shape the dough into three rolls, each 3-4 cm in diameter. Place the rolls on a baking sheet, leaving some space between them. Lightly beat the egg white and brush the rolls with it. Bake in a preheated oven at 160°C (320°F) for 15-20 minutes. Let the rolls cool briefly and cut into 1.5 cm-thick diagonal slices. Dry in the oven at 100°C (212°F) for 15 minutes, then let them cool completely.
