Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 100 g chocolate (dark or cooking chocolate)
  • 100 g butter
  • 3 eggs
  • 80 g powdered sugar
  • 10 g instant coffee powder (cappuccino)
  • 100 g flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 200 g quark, curd cheese
  • 70 g powdered sugar
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 10 g flour
  • 200 g sour cherries, from the jar

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

For the batter, melt the chocolate in a double boiler and let it cool slightly. Beat the butter with the eggs and sugar until creamy. Finally, stir in the chocolate, cappuccino powder, flour, and baking powder. For the filling, mix the quark with the powdered sugar, egg, and flour. Grease the muffin tin and divide half of the chocolate batter into the 12 holes. Place about 3/4 of the drained sour cherries on top, then add the filling. Pour the remaining chocolate batter on top. Decorate the muffins with the remaining cherries and bake for 35 minutes at 160°C (320°F).
