Chocolate-covered bacon sticks

Spread the love

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 1 pack of bacon
  • 100 g milk chocolate coating
  • n. B. White chocolate coating for decorating

Instructions

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Rest time approx. 4 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 4 hours 50 minutes

true to the motto: either you hate it or you love it!

Finely chop each strip of chocolate and place it separately in a metal bowl. Thread the bacon strips onto a wooden skewer, curling them, and place them between two sheets of kitchen paper on a plate. Microwave for 2.5 minutes until the bacon is nice and crispy (time can be adjusted as desired). Then set the bacon aside. Fill a pot with water, place the bowl containing the milk chocolate in it, heat it, and melt the chocolate, stirring constantly until no lumps remain. Reduce the heat to low. Hold a bacon stick over the bowl and use a spoon to completely cover it with chocolate. Gently tap to remove the excess chocolate and place the stick between two similarly sized objects to prevent bruising. Repeat with the remaining sticks. Once the sticks are somewhat dry (100% is not necessary), prepare the white chocolate as you did with the milk chocolate and decorate the bacon sticks with a small spoon. Of course, there are no limits to your imagination! Let it cool. It’s perfect as finger food.
