from the recipe treasure trove of a French friend – to die for!

Melt the butter and chocolate together in a double boiler. In another bowl, mix the eggs with the vanilla sugar. Mix the chocolate mixture with the egg mixture. Gradually fold in the sugar and flour, stirring constantly. Pour the batter into a dish (I would recommend a casserole dish or a baking sheet with high sides). The cake can be baked either in the microwave for 3-5 minutes on the highest setting or in the oven at 180°C (top/bottom heat) for 20-25 minutes. Caution: This cake is not suitable for diets… But I swear, this fondant will make everyone melt. It’s still really gooey, simply divine. My friend from France always brings the cake to parties, and the dish is licked clean half an hour later. I’ve finally managed to get hold of the recipe and don’t want to keep it from the rest of the world.
