Ingredients for 12 servings:
- 230 g flour
- 40 g cocoa powder
- 2 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp baking soda
- 100 g dark chocolate, chopped
- 100 g chocolate, white, chopped
- 2 large eggs
- 300 g sour cream
- 70 g cane sugar
- 80 g butter, melted
- ½ bottle of butter-vanilla flavoring
- possibly walnuts, chopped
- 100 g butter (or double cream)
- 250 g powdered sugar
- 50 g dark chocolate
- e.g. cinnamon

Preheat oven to 200°C (top/bottom heat). Grease a 12-hole muffin tin or line with paper baking cups. Sift flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and baking soda into a large bowl and stir in chocolate chips. In another bowl, thoroughly whisk together eggs, sour cream, sugar, and melted butter. Mix both mixtures until a rough batter forms. Divide the batter evenly among the cups and bake for 20 minutes. Cream the butter in a bowl until fluffy, then sift in the powdered sugar and cinnamon and stir until smooth. Add the melted chocolate and mix well. Spread onto the cooled muffins and garnish with walnuts, if desired.
