Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Swedish, makes about 20 cookies
Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F). Combine the flour, baking powder, butter, sugar, oats, and salt; the dough will resemble breadcrumbs. Add the syrup, chocolate, cocoa nibs, grated orange zest, and water; mix everything into a dough. Place small, spaced-apart balls of dough on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper; the cookies will still spread. Place the cookies in the center of the oven and reduce the temperature to 175°C (350°F). Bake for 10-15 minutes. Let cool on a wire rack. Once cooled, melt the milk chocolate and dip the bottoms of the cookies in the chocolate, ideally using two forks. Info: Cocoa nibs/nibs aren’t available everywhere, but it’s really worth it; the flavor is completely different than just chocolate. 1 dl (1/4 dl) corresponds to 100 ml (1/4 oz) on a measuring cup.
