Chocolate sheet cake with coffee glaze and coconut flakes

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 3 eggs
  • 300 g sugar
  • 300 ml milk
  • 225 g butter
  • 4 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 350 g flour
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 250 g powdered sugar
  • 5 tbsp coffee
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 2 tsp vanilla sugar
  • 50 g butter
  • 1 bag desiccated coconut, for sprinkling

Instructions

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

For 20 pieces

Whisk together the eggs, sugar, vanilla sugar, milk, butter, and cocoa powder. Sift the flour and baking powder and fold in a spoonful at a time. Spread the mixture on a baking sheet and bake at 200 degrees Celsius for 20 minutes. During baking, whisk together the powdered sugar, coffee, cocoa powder, vanilla sugar, and butter until smooth. Brush this mixture onto the still-warm cake. Sprinkle with coconut flakes. Once the cake has cooled, cut into pieces.
