Chocolate spread

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 50 g butter or vegetable margarine
  • 50 g honey (bee honey)
  • 250 ml milk
  • 3 tbsp cocoa powder (Kaba)
  • 100 g flour
  • 250 ml cream or condensed milk, possibly more

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Heat the butter, honey, and milk together until the butter melts. Remove the saucepan from the heat. Combine the flour with the cocoa powder and whisk or fork to mix it into the melted butter. Gradually stir in the cream (do not whip it until stiff first!). Adjust the amount to suit the consistency. Pour the spread into a jar; the amount specified here is enough for about half a liter of spread. The original recipe calls for butter, but I usually use vegetable margarine.
