Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 150 g applesauce
  • 150 g vanilla yogurt
  • 50 g speculatius biscuits
  • Cinnamon

Instructions

also suitable for using up leftover speculatius

Finely crush the speculatius biscuits. This is best done in a freezer bag with a rolling pin. Select two attractive jars and fill them. First, a layer of biscuits, about 0.5 cm thick, so that the bottom is well covered. Then a layer of applesauce, then yogurt, until it’s all used up. However, you should finish with yogurt; it looks best. Place the jars in the refrigerator for at least 2-3 hours (overnight is fine). Sprinkle with cinnamon before serving. Tip: Two roasted almonds also look great on top as decoration (or for Christmas cookies).
