Ingredients
 

  • 4 Apples
  • Butter for brushing
  • 150 g Almonds
  • 100 g Marzipan paste
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • Honey liquid
  • 200 g Butter
  • 200 g Sugar
  • 4 Eggs
  • 250 g Flour
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 0,5 tsp Ground cinnamon
  • 3 tbsp Rum

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 200 ° C
  • Peel the apples and cut into thin wedges.
  • Briefly toast the almond slivers in a little butter and allow to cool
  • Melt the butter and stir in the sugar until frothy
  • Then gradually add the eggs.
  • Mix the flour and the baking powder into the mixture
  • Add the rum and cinnamon and spread the mixture on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
  • Now distribute the apple wedges evenly on the dough
  • Tear the marzipan mixture into small pieces and sprinkle over the cake with the almonds and vanilla sugar.
