Christmas Cookies: Port Wine Biscuits Approx. 50 Pieces

Completion :
- 125 g Butter at room temperature
- 90 g Raw cane sugar
- 1 Knife point Vanilla pulp
- 1 Pc. Egg
- 75 g Peeled and ground almonds
- 1 teaspoon Baking powder
- 200 g Sifted powdered sugar
- 4 cl Port red
- 50 g Cranberries dried, chopped
- Sieve the flour on the work surface, add sugar, vanilla pulp, almonds, baking powder + egg.
- Add the butter in pieces, knead everything quickly. Wrap the dough in foil, cool for 30 minutes.
- Flour the work surface, roll out the dough to 5 mm thick, cut out the biscuits. Place on baking paper + baking tray, bake at 160 ° C for approx. 12 minutes.
- Let the cookies cool down,
- Mix the glaze, brush the biscuits and sprinkle with the chopped cranberries. Orangeat or lemon peel can also be used here. Or like my picture with sugar pearls.
