Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 500 ml milk (whole milk)
  • 75 g milk chocolate or 50 g dark chocolate
  • 30 g cocoa powder
  • 3 tbsp sugar, brown, finely ground
  • 1 stalk(s) cinnamon (small stick)
  • ½ star anise
  • 4 cloves
  • 1 shot of brandy or rum

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

Enjoy hot or cold

Finely grate or chop the chocolate. Add the spices and alcohol to the milk and bring to a boil while stirring. Remove from the heat and stir in the chocolate, cocoa powder, and brown sugar. Let it steep until the desired flavor intensity is reached (takes about 5-10 minutes). Then, depending on your preference, chill it first in ice water or strain it while hot and serve. Tip: The alcohol can also be added after the steeping process. This will make the taste more intense.
