Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 800 ml freshly squeezed orange juice (approx. 2 kg oranges)
  • 1 stalk(s) cinnamon
  • 4 cloves
  • 4 bags of mulled wine spice
  • 500 g gelling sugar, 2:1

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

for approx. 4 glasses, each 350 ml capacity

Combine the freshly squeezed orange juice with the cinnamon and cloves in a saucepan, bring to a boil briefly, and then remove from the heat. Add the mulled wine spices and let everything steep for about 3 hours. Then discard the cinnamon, cloves, and mulled wine spices. Add the gelling sugar to the orange juice, bring to a boil, and simmer for about 6-7 minutes. Test for settling! Immediately pour into clean jars, seal, and let cool.
