Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 1 kg flour (if the dough is too sticky, add a little more)
  • 575 ml water
  • 75 ml olive oil
  • 20 g sugar
  • 20 g salt
  • 1 cube of yeast

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

Dough for 3 loaves

Dissolve the yeast in a little lukewarm water. Stir the flour, salt, sugar, and yeast thoroughly. Let it rise for 30 minutes. Pour into loaf pans and let it rise for another 30 minutes. Lightly dust with flour and bake in the oven at 220°C for 45 minutes.
