Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 250 g wheat flour type 405 or type 550
- 250 g low-fat curd cheese
- 1 egg(s)
- 1 packet of baking powder
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 30 g sugar
- 30 g cinnamon sugar
- 60 g raisins
- 1 pinch of salt
- 25 g butter or margarine
- some egg yolk for brushing
- Granulated sugar for sprinkling
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes
from a small bread baking tin or loaf tin
Sift the flour into a mixing bowl, make a well in the center, and add the baking powder. Add all the remaining ingredients, except the egg yolk, and knead together. Pour the dough into a greased and floured small loaf pan and bake at 200°C (top/bottom heat) for about 1 hour (test with a toothpick). After about 10-15 minutes of baking, brush the bread with egg yolk and/or sugar, if desired. Let the sweet bread cool slightly on a wire rack.
