Cinnamon-Orange Tea "Blossom of the Orient"

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 oranges
  • 4 cinnamon sticks
  • 12 rose blossom(s) (rosebuds), dried
  • 4 tsp honey, liquid

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 minute; Total time approx. 11 minutes

Using a vegetable peeler, peel four zests from the oranges and place one zest into each glass or large mug. Now peel the oranges completely, removing any bitter whites, and cut them into segments. Add these to the glasses, along with the cinnamon stick, rosebuds, and honey. Pour boiling water over the oranges, stir, and let them steep, covered, for 1 minute. Serve immediately.
